Know Before You Go > IMPORTANT <

  • Lush Skin Studio is located inside of Cascade Executive Suites located at 237 NE Chaklov Dr Vancouver Wa 98684

  • NOTE that I am a solo esthetician meaning I have a single office suite, if someone else opens the main door for you please wait in the lobby until I come get you, don’t come into the suite unless directed to do so for respect and privacy of other guests that may be getting a service before you.

  • The main doors are locked at all times so I will need to come get you, when you arrive please text me (preferred) if you call and I don’t pick up, it is because I am still with another client. You may wait outside the building or in your car until I am ready for you.

  • You can park in the front or back of the building, there are entrances at both, just text me which entrance you are at so I can get you at the right place. This will be the protocol for every appointment.

  • I accept cash, but I do not carry change with me so it must be the exact amount :)

Before your appointment

  • Be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes early if it is your first appointment with Lush Skin Studio.

  • Come with no makeup on if possible, if makeup is on it will be removed by the esthetician and may cut into your service time.

  • Skip any strong at-home facial treatments the week before your appointment (actives such as retinols/retinoids, acids, benzoyl peroxide, etc) and any exfoliation treatments a few days prior. If on ACCUTANE you can’t get services for facial, waxing, brow tinting, or chemical peels until a year after you are off of it.

  • Try to stay out of the sun (and always use sunscreen) and away from tanning beds for five days before and after your facial.

  • If you need to pluck/shave facial hairs, please do so at least 48 hours before your appointment. This only pertains to you if your appointment is a facial/chemical peel/dermaplaning.

  • Work out before coming to your appointment, rather than after (You don’t want to sweat on your freshly cleansed face).

  • Plan extra time for finding parking (which is free!)

Children and Guest Policy

  • Due to safety considerations and limited space, children are not permitted in the salon (unless they are getting the service). Please make prior arrangements for your children before arriving at your appointment.

  • If you must bring an adult guest with you, they must wait in the lobby or car for you during your appointment.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policies

  • The card required to book is not a deposit, your card will not be charged upon booking. If you don’t cancel/reschedule at least 12 hours before your appointment time, you will be charged 50% of the total service cost to the card on file. If you no-call no-show, you will be charged 100% of the service cost. Service charges are non-refundable.

  • Please read my “Before Your Appointment” section which goes over contraindications to Lush services so you can be best prepared for your appointment. If you come to the appointment and you have a contraindication (ex. getting a tan the afternoon before our appt) you will have to rebook for another day and you will be charged 50% of the service cost.
    *You can reschedule or cancel your appointment in the email confirmation that you receive after booking or call/text (360)558-8370 (please leave a voicemail if there is no answer to your call).

Late Policy

  • Any client arriving 15 minutes late to our scheduled appointment time will be accommodated as much as possible but, if there is a client right after them, the service will either be cut short or we will have to reschedule (depending on the service(s) booked).

  • If the client arrives 15 minutes late and I can’t accommodate them, they will be charged 50% of their total appointment cost to the card on file (unless you want to change it to another card or cash). If your card on file cannot be charged, you can’t book another service with us until your past-due amount is paid off.

  • We respect your time and expect you to do the same, if we are late we will give you a free add-on to your service as we know it is also an inconvenience for you if you are on time, and we happen to be running late. We know you are taking time out of your busy day to see us - we appreciate it!

Gift Card Policy

  • Gift Cards are non-refundable and have a one-year expiration date starting from the day of purchase.
